Ancient herbal traditions with a modern twist
We selected premium organic herbs from the Mediterranean tradition that are backed by modern research. Our herbs can be both drunk as infusions or used as ingredients and base for other products such as cooking aromatic oils, DIY cosmetics and bath soaks, home-made liquors or for general cooking purposes.
We bring to our customers ancient botanical traditions upgraded with a very modern concept and design. We only source from small organic farms in Europe and we will continue selecting more botanicals to provide fantastic products to our clients. Stay tuned for more healthy choices to come!
Luna Mediterranea’s History
The brand idea came after our Co-founder Marta had to face very harsh health conditions. She developed a toxic mold allergy after a long struggle with EBV and Mycoplasma, creating a chronic struggle in her life. She realized that many Chronic disease sufferers in the world are currently feeling isolated: they do not have enough information about remedies that can improve their quality of life due to complex nature of their condition, often jumping from one practitioner to the other with no real difference. They are also lacking tools to tackle their healing journey in a holistic way. Likewise, more and more people globally are looking for natural sources of health management and wellness.
One Christmas evening, meeting family and friends she pitched her initial idea of putting together a community with a selection of premium organic products that could be both sustainable and good, with an awesome design and then the magic started! Rossella teamed up to create a power bundle and make the dream of starting the company become reality! As we are still learning how to best serve our community we welcome all feedbacks and reviews. We will continue to test and try new products and services to provide our clients with special offerings that respect our Mediterranean ancient remedies tradition and connect it to the modern world.

Packaging
Our packaging is trying to be like us: as sustainable as it gets! We choose reusable and recyclable materials to allow you to enjoy our products feeling good about your impact on the environment. You can dispose of our paper packages directly in your paper recyclable bin (please peel off the zipper and dispose of it with the plastic waste recyclable products). You can re-use forever our tin boxes and refill it choosing the paper bags. Our mailers are compostable too! Follow the instructions on the package. We give space to young artists for our design! The one you are seeing now is made by Ngoc Phuong Ong, a Vietnamese artist based in Italy.
Farms & Certifications
We work solely with farms in Europe that are certified organic with the EU organic certification. We support small producers that believe in small quantities to improve quality and follow nature’s rhythms. We are proud to work with individuals that care about the environment and put their heart and soul tinto making beautiful plants that have the highest strength of properties without going through the harshness of chemicals and poor soil and air. When we select our partners we first look at their overall reputation and the quality of their products but finally we deeply care about their passion and the values they hold. We put sustainability and quality first so you know that the cup you are sipping on is the result of the right proportion of sun, soil, rain, fresh air and a lot of love.
